International Engineering Company for General Contracting Ltd. was established in 2004 under the law of the Ministry of Commerce and the Department of the Registrar of Companies. The company is currently classified by the Ministry of Planning as a “first-class construction contracting company” after the company implemented several projects and increased its capital to 5 billion Iraqi dinars.

Upon its establishment, the company included several engineers with expertise and experience in the field of large projects and various specializations, and the company invests and exploits those experiences for the benefit of the projects it implements.

Occupational Safety

Our company is fully aware of its responsibilities towards occupational safety in the workplace for all individuals, including workers, employees, and contractors. The company is also committed to the continuous development of its management and safety system to comply with all international standards in force in the United States and Europe. In this context, our company implements the following procedures:

  1. Alerting all workers to the dangers that they may be exposed to in the workplace and training them on how to confront and overcome them.
  2. Provide firefighting devices and train workers on how to use them.
  3. Train workers on the correct and proper use of machinery and equipment and methods of operating them in a way that guarantees their safety.
  4. Regularly and systematically review the training procedures that workers need.
  5. Give general directives and instructions to act quickly in case of emergency or in the event of accidents during work.
  6. Find a way to quickly contact the nearest hospital or health center.
  7. Provide brochures on occupational safety at the work site.
  8. Consider occupational safety requirements as a binding condition for on-site work.
